The Benefits of Sensory & Nature Play

  • Sensory play encouages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. Sensory play includes play that engages any of your child’s senses.

While making new discoveries and engaging in sensory experiences, children can continue to strengthen their neural pathways building nerve connections in the brain and encouraging the development on language and motor skills.

  • There is no better space for children to learn than the outdoors, and there is no better resource than the nature.

Children lead their own play, choose how they want to play and what they want to play with. It’s full of imagination, curiosity, and creativity. Nature can often be your best friend when it comes to sensory play.

Current research shows that the natural environments and outdoor play are beneficial to children in many ways. Playing outdoors is important for developing capacities for symbolic play, problem solving and intellectual development.

  • Find your village within our community!

Our sessions aren’t just for our little ones. It is a way for families to connect with others and build new friendships. It is a space where you can relax and engage with your child in play, exploring the benefits of holistic sensory experiences and ground yourself in nature.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our oasis.
